Lenovo India betting big on improving Its Customer Services
Lenovo(HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) has reportedly commenced a multicity marketing activation for industrial clusters starting with Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, followed by Ludhiana. Lenovo "Lead the Change" Campaign is being launched with the purpose of reaching out to SMEs and enabling them to choose the right devices and improve their productivity and output.

In India, Lenovo formed the Small and Medium Business (SMB) unit in 2010-11. Since then, the SMB segment has grown from a market-share of 2.8% in Q1 CY2010 to 7.2% in Q1 CY2013. In sync with the Unstoppable India goal, ably supported by Lenovo’s Protect & Attack strategy, the business is emerging with the right products and strategy for a customer win-win.   

Ashok Nair, Director - SMB, Lenovo India, stated, "We are glad to start the Lead the Change Campaign. Concurrent to our motto of Unstoppable Lenovo India, this will help us take the latest in the game to SMEs and enable them to compete at a global level. We will be expanding this campaign to Ahmedabad, Surat, Navsari, Pune, Nasik, Kanpu, Bhubaneswar and Noida in the coming weeks."

Lenovo is aggressively focussing on building its SME base across India. The Bhiwadi Cluster activation saw 40 Heads of Businesses participate (mainly from manufacturing and engineering), while at Ludhiana there were 75 Business Heads from manufacturing and textile engineering sectors. Delegates from the leading industry associations such as Ludhiana Cycle Manufacturers' Association and Ludhiana Knitwear Apparel Manufacturers' Association & Industries actively participated in expert-led discussions, covering IT pain points with SMEs and how solutions offered by Lenovo could address major concerns............See More
