NSN and Juniper Networks expand Mobile IP Partnership 
Intending to deliver next generation of mobile IP solutions, NSN and Juniper Networks(NYSE:JNPR) have jointly announced expansion of their long-term partnership. The extended collaboration will cover secure IP connectivity for high-performance mobile broadband networks via jointly-developed solutions that meet the end-to-end needs of operators. With the introduction of LTE and LTE Advanced solutions, IP plays an essential role in mobile broadband networks.

For delivering high-performance mobile broadband, the new solutions will focus on key areas including next-generation mobile backhaul for mobile operators that need to upgrade and consolidate their backhaul networks to support LTE and LTE-Advanced architecture; radio access security to encrypt and firewall traffic coming into the mobile network over the LTE; mobile site connectivity for operators upgrading or extending their mobile infrastructure with the latest NSN products at the controller sites and at the mobile core and Carrier-grade NAT.
