Tech Mahindra signs strategic alliance with Bosch Software 
Tech Mahindra and Bosch Software Innovations have announced signing a global strategic business partnership to focus on the global manufacturing and transportation industry. The collaboration aims to develop and deliver scalable digital enterprise solutions in "Internet of Things and Services" space. This space is expected to grow exponentially as more than 20 billion devices are expected to be connected to the Internet by 2015 and 50 billion by 2020.

This partnership will also empower Tech Mahindra and Bosch to be the forerunners in enabling customers to be prepared for this transformation. Tech Mahindra and Bosch will jointly develop solutions for industrial equipment management, connected services, and intermodal transportation.

"Tech Mahindra's expertise in enterprise solutions and its global market presence, along with the state-of-the-art product portfolio and industry experience will enable this partnership to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions to our customers," said Klaus Hueftle, Managing Director, Bosch Software Innovations.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
