Ground Zero Summit 2013 unveils Free Antivirus in India for Android 
As per the recent update, the Ground Zero Summit 2013 has been concluded. During the Summit the first free Antivirus in India ‘PO’ (Privacy On) for android phones was unveiled. Also, 1 Year Fellowship Program in National Security fromDelhi Technological University and National Security Database was launched at the Ground Zero summit.

The two day conference focused on the Information Security challenges emerging on the horizon and finding ways in which enterprises, service providers and government can overcome challenges. Second day of the summit witnessed  sessions from policy makers and industry experts to discuss the challenges of the Information Security industry

Indian security researcher and hacker Atul Alex Cherian demonstrated a Zero-Day Attack (an attack for which there is no fix yet) about hacking hardware and embedded systems especially focused on ADSL routers which are widely deployed by the ISPs in India for millions of customers.

Rajshekar Murthy, Director, National Security Database said, The attack on these devices could allow a complete control on the device remotely including monitoring of the end user activity, such as what website the user was visiting or browsing as well as probability of stealing their passwords and other sensitive data.
