Sunstrike Telecom has taken another big leap in the country by launching Optima Smart, its smart, sleek and stylish smartphones and tabs. The smartphone technology incorporates the functionality of portable media players, Internet connectivity, compact digital cameras, and huge storage spaces to form one multi-use device.  With Optima Smart series that offers technology convergence at its best, smart technology is set to become a nationwide phenomenon. Optima Smart OPS 80 is a 10.9mm thick handset with 5.3-inch WVGA screen powered by 1GHz cortex A9 processor. There is 8MP rear AF camera with flash and a front camera of 1.3MP resolution. The OPS 80 runs on Android ICS with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. Micro SD card up to 32GB is supported.

Optima Smart OPS 80Q is 5-inch smartphones with qHD resolution and powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a front 2MP camera. Android 4.2.1 OS sails on 512MB RAM with 4GB storage and access to up to 32GB external SD card.

Other common features included are 3G, Wi-Fi, Dual-SIM support, micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2000 mAh capacity.........See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
