Kaspersky to extend support for Windows XP till 2016 
As per a recent update, Kaspersky Lab has revealed to its customers that although Microsoft Corporation will end support for the Windows XP SP3 operating system in April 2014, Kaspersky Lab‘s corporate protection solution Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10for Windows and consumer protection solutions Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 will continue to support the Microsoft Windows XP operating system (Service Pack 3 only) until the second quarter of 2016,  in accordance with Kaspersky Lab product lifecycles.

Kaspersky Lab also plans to maintain support for the operating system in at least two future generations of Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security products.
