  Vodafone associates with Delhi Traffic Police to promote Safe Mobility 
Vodafone India has joined hands with Delhi Traffic Police to associate with the Delhi Police Week to launch its Safe Mobility Campaign in the city today. Through this campaign, Vodafone India is encouraging consumers - "TO NOT USE THEIR PHONE, WHILE DRIVING".

500 children from various NGOs and more than 800 Vodafone employees participated in the safety march which was flagged off from Rajpath and culminated at Shastri Bhawan to promote Safe Mobility. It is a distinctive endeavour from Vodafone, to promote responsible mobility and connect with customers highlighting a strong social message.

The safety march was jointly flagged off by Subrat Padhi, Business Head – Delhi, Vodafone India, and Anil Shukla, Addl. C.P, Delhi Traffic Police.

Speaking about the initiative, Subrat Padhi, Business Head – Delhi, Vodafone India, said, “Vodafone India, as a value-based organization, is passionate about people and is constantly working towards providing and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for its employees, customers and the society. Under the umbrella theme of Health, Safety and Well-being, we have intensified our focus on safety and have moved from Zero Fatality to Zero Harm. Vodafone takes this opportunity to urge Delhiites and those travelling to the city, to follow road safety rules and stay safe.”

The event also witnessed a street play conducted by the children from various NGO’s educating people about road safety and the perils of using mobile phones while driving.
