Rashi Peripherals has celebrated its Silver Jubilee Anniversary recently, marking its 25 years in the IT industry. It was this day that Rashi Peripherals was incepted with the objective of bringing IT products and solutions to each and every town of India. 
True to its vision, Rashi takes pride in having a large reach of 58 branches, 62 service centers, 95 locations all over the country and 9000 customers across 750 towns. A humble beginning with just 2 employees, Rashi now employs more than 800 people, distributing 18 brands and marketing 18 million units annually. 
With CAGR of 30%, Rashi is also amongst the fastest growing distributors in the country. 100+ awards won by Rashi is testimonial of its rapid but consistent growth year over year. As a part of the Silver Jubilee Celebration, Rashi has launched 3 levels of celebration. Firstly, Silver Jubilee Week celebration by way of daily channel schemes and offers for partners.  Secondly, Facebook contest for users, partners and employees. Finally, each of the Rashi 95 locations have been decorated and lit in the Silver Jubilee theme. There are simultaneous celebrations taking place in each of these locations with cake cutting followed by Lunch for partners as well as vendors. Almost 3000 partners and over 1000 associates are participating in the Rashi Silver Jubilee celebration all over India.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
