Unistal selects Conduit Technologies as Regional Distributor 
Expanding its reach in India, Unistal Systems has appointed Conduit Technologies as its regional distributor for Maharashtra. With this appointment, Unistal will primarily target B- and C- class cities to strengthen its presence across Maharashtra. This appointment will help in extending better and faster service to their customers in this region.
Rajib Banerjee, Vice-President - Sales, Unistal Systems Pvt. Ltd., said, "With the appointment of Conduit Technologies as RD, we have confidence that they will certainly facilitate Unistal's growth and will help us in reaching the tier-II and tier-III cities of Maharashtra. Our main focus lies on the quality of the product and the service which we offer. Our regional distributors will also have the same approach in representing Unistal. We are also looking forward to appointing regional distributors in other regions."
Conduit Technologies will primarily sell Protegent range of Antivirus and security products – Protegent Antivirus, Protegent Internet Security and Protegent 360 software. These products cater to contemporary users and are specially designed for Home and SOHO customers.
Currently, Unistal is focussed and engaged in increasing its brand image and product market share across pan India. Unistal is planning to appoint one secondary partner in every B- and C- class city across Maharashtra and looking forward to have more tie-ups in 2014. The company is all set to establish its distribution network across pan India. With northern and eastern regions doing better than other two regions, the company is planning to tap the market of southern and western India.

Fake GST invoice scam; 215 people arrested, ₹700 cr recovered:  The   Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI)   has recovered more than ₹700 crore from the arrested 215 people and in the last two months. The individuals who have been arrested for   GST fake invoice frauds   and are fly-by-night operators who fraudulently avail, pass on and utilize input tax credit (ITC) in multi-layered scams. The GST intelligence authorities have also registered over 2,200 cases and have unearthed more than 6,600 fake   GSTIN   entities. “Out of the 215 arrests so far there are 71 masterminds, 81 proprietors, 36 director/managing directors, 15 partners, 3 CEOs, 6 chartered accountants and one each of company secretary, broker, and GST practitioner,” the statement said.   The recent usage of data analytics, data-sharing and AI along with BAFTA tools has helped the agency to detect fraudsters with precise inputs.
