Google and Citrix team up for offering critical Windows Apps to Chromebooks 
Citrix is working with Google to deliver business-critical Windows apps toGoogle Chromebooks. Chromebooks are experiencing rapidly-growing adoption across organizations of all types, including many of the largest enterprises, as they look to transition to new and innovative computing platforms. One of the key needs for these organizations is to provide users anywhere, anytime access to Windows apps that are critical for business, such as line of business apps for HR, finance and sales. Chromebooks for Business combined withCitrix XenApp virtual app delivery solution and Citrix Receiver for HTML5, enable customers to deliver all types of Windows apps with the high-definition user experience of Citrix HDX technology, and operational scalability for the largest organizations.
In addition to secure app delivery, Citrix adds support for collaboration with the recently announced GoToMeeting Free, a web-based app that gives users quick and simple video conferencing for Chromebook users, further enhancing a mobile workspace solution within the Chrome environment.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
