Dell kicks off
Dell India(NASDAQ:DELL) has announced the launch of Back to School 2014, an initiative to reiterate Dell’s focus on empowering the education segment in the tier-II and tier-III cities. The campaign was kicked off in April and will continue through May till June 2014. Even as school students step into their summer vacations, these offers enable parents to equip their children and provide learning content and tools that will help them prepare for the beginning of the new school year.
The Back to School campaign is a one in a series of outreach programs planned in 2014. These programs have been designed to expand the influence of technology with a strong focus on Tier-II and Tier-III towns, where the computing experience has only partially made its way into the homes of young school students. With its flagship Go Rural program, Dell intends to take the PC directly to the masses in the Tier-II and III cities. With its unique "Show & Tell" format, the customers get to experience of the latest technology products on the go.
"Back to School is an extension of our existing focus on the schoolgoing student community. It is based on the belief that, with technology, school students have the support they need to expand their horizons when it comes to studies and are enabled to achieve more. At Dell, we strive to create the ideal companion in gaining knowledge, while also making the process of education exciting, entertaining and enlightening," said P. Krishnakumar, Executive Director & General Manager, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India.
To maximize the reach of this campaign, and to ensure visibility for the Back to School offers across market tiers, Dell will kick off “Back to School” with a 360-degree marketing campaign........See More
