Foxconn is establishing joint venture with Hewlett-Packard (HP)(NYSE:HPQ) exclusively to manufacture servers for cloud computing and offering related supporting services.
Terry Guo, President, Foxconn, said, "Development of cloud computing has thoroughly changed the global server supply chain, for suppliers should be able to provide total solutions with design capability to respond to client's demand and ability for global production, shipment and complete after-sales services."
