As a technology player, the new wave of digitalization is very exhilarating for us. Every day, new changes are coming up with the Mr Narendra Modi-led government in terms of technology, which seems to be quite promising for India. Digitalization will enable the government in meeting the public needs and demands in a more convenient fashion and vice versa.

We, at ZTE, see this phenomenon as a chance to grow in the Indian market. ZTE has always considered going digital as an important aspect of what the future has in store for us. A smartphone for every Indian with a fast Internet connection will not only enable the people but also drive growth in the country faster.

Since India is still majorly an agrarian economy, the prospect of being a fully digitized nation is a bit futuristic. Even today, more than half the population cannot access the Internet. In order to make India a digitized nation, we first need to focus on building the right infrastructure, and on educating the people how to best use it.
