Mahindra Comviva appoints Reyad Hasnain as Country Manager for Bangladesh 
Mahindra Comviva has announced appointment of Reyad Hasnain as the new Country Manager for Bangladesh. The appointment has been announced at a strategic time when Mahindra Comviva is aggressively focussing on extending its footprint in the Bangladesh market with its innovative offerings in Mobile Financial, Content, Data and Managed VAS services.
Reyad will be responsible for driving sales, business development and strategic relationships with telecom operators, services providers and banks in the Bangladesh market.

Mahindra Comviva leads the electronic recharge market in Bangladesh with five deployments of PreTUPS with all the leading telecom service providers in the country, which powers recharge for over 109 million prepaid subscribers (97% of prepaid mobile connection’s recharge) in Bangladesh. Its mobiquity mobile money and banking solution is deployed by two leading operators and a leading bank in Bangladesh. The company won the GSMA Global Mobile Awards 2013 for its mobiquity mTicketing platform. Deployed in collaboration with the leading operators in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Railways, the service allows customers to purchase tickets using a prepaid mobile wallet or over-the-counter at an authorized outlet.

Reyad brings with him over 15 years of experience in the telecom and IT sector spanning diverse job-roles. His last assignment was Head of Customer Team at NSN. In addition to his experience in Bangladesh market, he also worked in various regional markets, including the United States, Asia-Pacific (Bangladesh, Thailand) and Africa (Namibia) with companies like Rockwell Collins, Siemens and Nokia.
