The all-new Canon Image Square at ¬Sangli, spread over 300 square feet, was inaugurated by Andrew Koh, Senior Director, Image Communication Products Group, Canon India. Andrew Koh said, “We are proud to announce the opening of the first Canon Image Square in Sangli. This is our ninth store in Maharashtra and a testimony to the fact that photography is rapidly becoming not just a sought-after profession but also an extremely popular hobby. The photography industry in India is reconfiguring in the form of a growing interest in compact as well as Digital-SLR cameras. Markets like Maharashtra are extremely critical for Canon India’s growth and the store will help to maintain the momentum.”
