Genius hosts partner's meet in Chennai 
Genius has recently organized a meet for its dealers in the vibrant, southern city of Chennai. Attended by over 170+ leading channel partners from all over Tamil Nadu, the dealer meet was intended to attract new partners and consolidate its relationship with the existing partners. The senior officials from Genius presiding over the meet included Ms Sharon Chiang (Business Head from Taiwan), Gaurav Mathur (Country Head - India) and Kumaravel V (Regional Manager - South India).

The meet focussed on Genius's existing range of products, its unique selling proposition as a brand and upcoming product roadmap. An array of Genius products were on display, including Gaming Products (GX Series), DVR (Vehicle Recorder), Audio Products (Speakers & Headsets),  IT Peripherals (Keyboard & Mice),  Mobility Products (Earphones & Power Banks) and its  Innovative Products (Energy Mouse – Mouse with Power Bank & Micro Traveler 9000R – Wireless Rechargeable Mouse. An open walk-in session was conducted to  get a first-hand feel of the products. A question-and-answer session was organized post the address and each correct answer received an attractive Genius gift.

Fake GST invoice scam; 215 people arrested, ₹700 cr recovered:  The   Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI)   has recovered more than ₹700 crore from the arrested 215 people and in the last two months. The individuals who have been arrested for   GST fake invoice frauds   and are fly-by-night operators who fraudulently avail, pass on and utilize input tax credit (ITC) in multi-layered scams. The GST intelligence authorities have also registered over 2,200 cases and have unearthed more than 6,600 fake   GSTIN   entities. “Out of the 215 arrests so far there are 71 masterminds, 81 proprietors, 36 director/managing directors, 15 partners, 3 CEOs, 6 chartered accountants and one each of company secretary, broker, and GST practitioner,” the statement said.   The recent usage of data analytics, data-sharing and AI along with BAFTA tools has helped the agency to detect fraudsters with precise inputs.
