Narayana Murthy quits as non-executive chairman 
As per the latest update, Infosys’ co-founder Narayana Murthy is all set to step down as non-executive chairman of the company. The Infosys Board has Murthy’s decision and thanked him for his valuable contributions for the company.
 
Narayana Murthy steps down as non-executive chairman

According to an official statement given by Infosys, “Narayana Murthy will cease to be non-executive chairman effective October 10, 2014. He indicated that in line with the company’s high corporate governance standards and to avoid any perceived conflicts, it would not be appropriate for him to be the chairman-Emeritus of Infosys.”

If reports are to be believed, K. V. Kamath will fill his shoes as the new chairman of the Board effective October 11, 2014.
