Teradata strengthens its position in India with Third Professional Services Center
To reinforce its position in India, Teradata has announced the opening of its third Indian professional services center in Airoli, Navi Mumbai.  The new Americas Development Center (ADC) will provide services to Teradata’s customers across the Americas region. The Airoli Center is Teradata’s third professional services center after Mumbai and Pune.
Sunil Jose, Managing Director, Teradata, India, said, “India’s skilled pool of talent, backed by a favourable business environment fostered by the new government makes India the obvious choice to host a professional services center serving Teradata’s growing client needs. I am confident we will be able to provide the best technical expertise and experience to accelerate growth and development for our clients globally.”
Robert Cromer, vice President, ADC, Teradata, India
The new center will boost Teradata’s efforts to help clients tackle big data and business analytics challenges. The new center will provide analytical services along with the company’s integrated set of hardware and software offerings, including Teradata solutions for Hadoop, the Teradata Aster Discovery portfolio, as well as the Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud.
While the new facility will certainly benefit Teradata customers, it will also provide India-based IT talent the opportunity to work with global technology experts and world-renowned clientele.
