Train ticket booked online can be paid on delivery

As an attempt to move people away from the ticket counters and decongest booking windows and make customers more user friendly, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a pilot project by offering the cash-on-delivery option for railway tickets bought online. This service will cater to customers who are reluctant to use their bank credit card or those who don’t have net-banking enabled bank account or cards.
Initially this service will be available in more than 200 cities. Train travelers can book a ticket five days prior to commencement of journey. The delivery charges will be similar to IRCTC I-tickets – Rs 40 will be charged for delivery of each sleeper class ticket and Rs 60 for an AC class ticket.
The cash on delivery (CoD) services will be provided by Anduril Technologies through their website and their App – BookMyTrain.com. See more at:
