HCL celebrates 10 years of with Merck & Co.

HCL Technologies has successfully completed ten years of engagement with Merck & Co., a global healthcare leader. The engagement that started in 2005 is one of the longest running strategic partnerships for HCL globally and includes delivery of a whole range of services, including transformational software-led IT solutions, infrastructure management, business and knowledge process services.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
