UTStarcom upholds potential of Carrier Wi-Fi, SDN Network, Nextgen Access and Transport

With a mission to support India in creating a “Superior Digital Highway”, UTStarcom has announced its aggressive plans and product portfolio for transport, aggregation and access networking solutions for Indian market in “Nextgen Access & Transport India 2015”. In line with the government initiatives like NOFN and Smart City, the company discussed the future of Wi-Fi, Nextgen access and transport in India.

“Nextgen Access & Transport India 2015” witnessed the presence of experts from the fields of telecom, Wi-Fi, Mobile Services, Network Transport and Telecom Infrastructure. Industry leaders including BSNL, Airtel, MTNL, VVNL, Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) Tata DoCoMo and DEN Network discussed the great industry insights, strategies, demands, and challenges for Superior Digital Highway in India.

Gupta, Director (Consumer Fixed Access), BSNL; Deepak Sanghi, Vice-President (Transport), Bharti Airtel; Sunil Kumar, Director, MTNL; Chetan Kumar, Vice-President, Technical Broadband, DEN Networks Limited, shared their views on topics like relevance of FTTx in the era of Mobile Broadband 3G/LTE/ Wi-Fi Technologies  and identifying the True Value of SDN and NFV for Carriers.
