Vodafone to expand Telecom Network in Bihar and Jharkhand: Invest Rs.250 Crore

Vodafone has announced to have invested Rs.250 crore for expanding its telecom network and distribution in Bihar and Jharkhand over the past twelve months. Vodafone has more than 415 retail outlets in Bihar and Jharkhand, with 6 Vodafone Stores, 121 Vodafone Mini Stores and 288 ADVMS (rural mini stores). In twelve months, Vodafone has added 3 VS and 19 VMS in the region. Vodafone has 3 Global Design Retail Stores in the region.

 Since April 2014, India has added more than 1,250 new sites across the region. Vodafone reaches out to customers over 33,500 towns and villages. Vodafone has been expanding its retail and distribution network to get closer to customers in rural and urban areas. Now, Vodafone India has about 8,700 2G sites in Bihar and Jharkhand circle, covering over 79 per cent of the region’s population.
