Deb Deep Sengupta becomes SAP’s new MD for Indian Subcontinent

SAP has appointed Deb Deep Sengupta as the new Managing Director for SAP Indian Subcontinent to drive its growth strategy and operations in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Based in New Delhi, Deb Deep Sengupta reports to Adaire Fox-Martin, President of SAP Asia- Pacific Japan.

Deb brings more than two decades of wide-ranging IT industry and management experience to the role, with a track record of increasing market share, winning key customers and leading effective teams. Deb Deep was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for SAP Indian Subcontinent where he provides leadership and direction to SAP’s multifunctional sales and operations organizations in India, driving continuous productivity improvements, and significantly contributing to the achievement of revenue and profitability objectives. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
