Myntra plans to move to App-only Format from May 15

Myntra has announced to shut down its website from May 15 and will move to mobile app-based model. The mobile app-based model will feature more innovations. This will be the first such instance of an e-commerce player transforming into a mobile-only entity as internet usage on smartphones witnesses a surge in India.

Myntra has informed users about the move through print media and via e-mail.

Both Flipkart and Myntra have already shut down their mobile websites directing visitors to use the respective apps. Currently, Myntra draws as much as 80% of its traffic and 70% of sales from its mobile app... See more
