Wipro earns T-Mobile Poland contract to provide Integrated Applications and Infrastructure Services

T-Mobile Poland has signed a contract with Wipro Ltd, to provide integrated Applications and Infrastructure services. Wipro is committed to improve T-Mobile’s legacy application consolidation and rationalization, transforming its operating model from application-focus to domain-focus leading to better customer service, significantly.

For next five years, Wipro will help T-Mobile to systemize and standardize the IT architecture and operations of their Polish entity. A significant portion of the services will be provided from Wipro’s Delivery Centre in Warsaw as a part of their development strategy for Poland.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
