DSCI presents 7th Best Practices Meet

Data Security Council of India (DSCI) has organised its seventh edition of annual event Best Practices Meet (BPM) in Bengaluru. The two day event has witnessed discussions on contemporary issues including policy matters, concerted efforts taken at national and sectoral levels, proposed industry steps, market response, globally evolved practices, technology innovation, industry standards and architectural designs, to see how they play their roles in building a secure cyber space. The conference was inaugurated by K. K. Natarajan, CEO – Mindtree.

Natarajan said, “There has been great push for transforming the economy into a digital economy, complemented by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a digitally empowered nation. As digital technologies on the one hand create immense opportunities, it gives rise to considerable vulnerabilities that can weaken the security posture.” He added “I am confident, that the DSCI Best Practices Meet will explore in-depth the structural and systematic analysis of security, and drive deliberations towards the need to build security by design.”Read more
