HP enhances its Flash Storage Portfolio

HP has announced innovations for HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage to support the transformation to hybrid IT and all-flash data centers. It includes a new 8000 family featuring the industry’s most affordable all-flash array (AFA), twice the workload performance of previous generations and automated performance assurance with flash-optimized quality of service (QoS) controls.

HP is accelerating customer transition to all-flash data centers with the new quad-controller HP 3PAR StoreServ 8000 Storage family as well as a new eight-controller HP 3PAR StoreServ 20800 AFA Starter Kit and software updates for the full HP 3PAR StoreServ family. Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
