Microsoft to give Digital India dream a shape
Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, has announced that his company is planning to partner with the Indian Government to take low-cost broadband technology to around five lakh villages across the country.
He also said that Microsoft believes that lost-cost broadband connectivity coupled with the scale of cloud computing intelligence can help drive creativity, efficiency and productivity across governments and businesses of all sizes. This, in turn, will drive more affordable products and services and access to opportunity to all of India.
