Nokia showcases futuristic technologies at Innovation Day

Nokia has hosted the India Innovation Day in Bangalore at the Nokia Technology Centre and showcased over 30 futuristic technologies and demonstrations on various R&D projects.

Nokia’s real-time live demonstrations highlighted company’s innovations in Telco Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT) and Analytics & 1000x Capacity among many other innovative  technologies in the mobile broadband segment. These technologies represented the entire gamut of products, features, and applications that Nokia is currently working on worldwide.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
