Dell expands its cloud portfolio with Microsoft

With Microsoft, Dell has announced expansion of its cloud portfolio with a new hybrid cloud solution. It has been designed to break down the barriers that customers experience on their path to cloud. Additionally, Dell also is offering an industry-unique payment solution to help customers simplify and minimize risks associated with cloud adoption.

Manish Gupta, Director, Enterprise Solutions Group, Dell India, said, “Most enterprises in India hesitate while adopting new technologies for various reasons as captured in a recent Dell KPMG study. Data sovereignty and privacy were cited as the biggest barriers to the adoption of emerging technologies such as the cloud. Customers adopting cloud are challenged with various complications when they switch from legacy infrastructure to a cloud-based infrastructure. With Dell and Microsoft co-engineering, the industry’s first hybrid cloud system using a unique payment structure, customers can move to the cloud with zero complication, worry less about their IT infrastructure and focus more on business growth.”Read more
