Brocade VADC solution leveraged by Atomy

Brocade’s virtual Application Delivery Controller (VADC) solution has been leveraged by South Korean beauty and wellness direct-selling company Atomy to support its rapid global expansion. With the Brocade Virtual Traffic Manager (VTM) in place, Atomy has been able to increase its international market footprint, handling a steep rise in transactions without impacting its physical network even when the number of members accessing its online mall has tripled.

“Reliable, 24/7 operation of our online mall is critical to the business and, due to our high rate of growth, we’d reached the limits of our existing Layer 4 load-balancing switches. The Brocade vTM is in a different league in terms of its capability and, as software running on virtual machines, it gives us on-demand capacity to cope with spikes in traffic from members accessing the mall. Following the Brocade vTM deployment, our server loads decreased and user response times improved by 50 per cent.
