Ringing Bells unveils Freedom 251 at INR251

The world’s cheapest phone has been recently launched in Delhi which just costs Rs.251.  The India-based company Ringing Bells has unveiled the most affordable smartphone – Freedom 251 at INR251 only. Dr Murali Manohar Joshi, Member of Parliament and Former Minister of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, has launched the phone.

Unveiling the revolutionary handset, Dr MurliManohar Joshi expressed his happiness on the handset ushering in a truly Digital India, “When I was a Union Human Resource and Development Minister, we had plans to utilize information technology to enhance the quality of education. We envisioned ‘India Innovates, India Makes’ to create technology that is not only inexpensive to reach the masses but also useful for them. With Freedom 251, Ringing Bells has achieved both by an exceedingly affordable price of just Rs.251 of the feature-rich smartphone loaded with useful apps for farmers, fishermen, women and students.
