Cisco Executive Vice President and CFO, Kelly Kramer reported positive about Cisco software and services business model’s successful transition. Now fee income the company’s software and subscription services, including in total revenue 28%. Cisco channel partners continue to drive 80% of total business. Channel partners are Cisco’s business success in the past, present and future.
David Goeckeler, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Security Business Group said, Cisco’s strong focus is on software and security portfolio, it is the clear agenda of Partner Summit 2016. “Since, security is very much in our networks and other technologies, we need a good security infrastructure and network infrastructure and they need to connect with each other. Security has become so important to our business and is one of the most profitable architectures.
