Barracuda enhances its Backup product line

Barracuda has announced multiple updates to its Barracuda Backup product line – including expanded subscription and cloud storage pricing options and two new large-scale Barracuda Backup models. Barracuda Backup Vx and Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup provide customers with integrated backup functionality. Barracuda’s new Barracuda Backup 790 and Barracuda Backup 895 offer 12 TB and 24 TB of usable capacity, respectively.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
