Why Microsoft acquires LinkedIn for a huge amount of $26.2 bn?

Microsoft shakes hand with LinkedIn Corp by signing a $26.2 billion acquisition deal. Despite of struggle by both the companies, it is expected to have a newer horizon for Microsoft’s Office suite as well as LinkedIn.

Satya Nadella is optimistic about this deal as this is the biggest acquisition by Microsoft ever. It is nearly three times as large as the Skype acquisition deal five years ago. Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
