Vodafone introduces M-Pesa PAY to enable merchants

Vodafone India has announced the launch of Vodafone M-Pesa PAY, an easy and ready to use digital payment solution to enable merchants and retailers to receive payments from their customers without any exchange of cash. 

To start using this digital payment solution, retailers and merchants simply have to download Vodafone M-Pesa app and register for Vodafone M-Pesa PAY as a merchant. Once registered, they can notify individual customer to make the payment due. Customers just need to click on the notification and make payment digitally using their M-Pesa wallet, bank account and debit or credit card....Read More

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
