Rajesh Gupta quits Western Digital- Sandisk

Rajesh Gupta, Country Manager, India & SAARC, SanDisk Corporation, A Western Digital company, who oversees the retail sales and marketing of SanDisk Flash Memory portfolio of SD , Micro SD cards, USB and SSD products through distribution & retail channels by covering traditional small format, IT malls, LFR and E-tail channels. Established as the No.1 brand in the consumer segment for flash memory storage solutions in India , Rajesh joined SANDISK on May 2012, with 5 year and 5 month of strong work with SANDISK- WD, finally he put his paper and last date is end of October 2017.

Before joining SANDISK, Rajesh had worked with Intel Corporation as the Director sales & marketing for a longer period of 15 years and 4 months as per his Linkedin profile. Rajesh is a though leader in the Industry and take right decisions at the right time, having a clear vision for the company of what lies ahead and managing people effectively to bring out the best in them. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
