Infosys CFO M.D. Ranganath resigns
Infosys has confirmed that its Chief Financial Officer, M D Ranganath has resigned from the post. The Board of Directors has accepted the resignation and is going to search for the next CFO. Ranganath will continue as Chief Financial Officer till November 16, 2018.

During his tenure of 18 years at Infosys, Ranga has been a part of the Infosys Leadership team and has played several leadership roles in the areas of consulting, finance, strategy, risk management and M&A and has worked closely with the Board and its committees in formulating and executing strategic priorities for the company.

After a successful career in Infosys including as CFO for the last 3 crucial years, Ranganath plans to pursue professional opportunities in new areas. Over the last 3 years, during a critical phase of the company, Ranganath had delivered strong and consistent financial outcomes, maintained high standards of financial reporting, built a world class finance team, further strengthened the company’s competitive position and thereby enhanced value to the stakeholders. He is thankful to the Board, management team, his colleagues in the finance team and all the stakeholders for their wholehearted support during his tenure.

Early this year Ranganath had shifted his base back to Bangalore from the US to operate being close to the Bengaluru-based CEO Salil Parekh.
