Why are iPhones banned by Mark Zuckerberg?

Mark Zuckerberg has ordered an injunction on his employees using Apple’s iPhones. According to a report on Facebook’s tactics targeting company critics and dealing with multiple scandals, Zuckerberg has banned iPhones and ordered to use only Android smartphones.

It is in response to Apple CEO Tim Cook’s comments made in an MSNBC interview earlier this year criticizing Facebook in the wake of revelations that Cambridge Analytica improperly obtained information on millions of Facebook users. Cook had said that privacy to them is a human right and added that Apple could make a ton of money if it chooses to monetize customer data as Facebook did.

Facebook, as part of its response, acknowledged that it has a policy of promoting usage of Android phones over Apple’s iPhones.

Facebook remarks in a statement that they have encouraged their employees and executives to use Android because it is the most popular operating system in the world.

It doesn’t stop here, as part of anti-Apple campaign, Facebook has hired a political PR firm called Definers Public Affairs. A news site called the NTK Network, affiliated with Definers, published many articles criticizing Apple as well as Google for unsavoury business practices....
