Good news for Jio users ! Happy New Year Offer with 100% cashback on this rechargeAs the year 2018 comes to a close, Reliance Jio has announced a ‘Happy New Year 2019 Offer’ for its customers on Friday. The new offer is somewhat similar to what the telco has offered in the past and Jio users will get to avail 100 percent cashback when they recharge their connection with the Rs 399 plan in the form of coupons that can be availed on e-commerce portal AJIO. “Jio in partnership with AJIO has introduced its Jio Happy New Year Offer. The offer provides 100 per cent cashback in form of AJIO coupon. Customers performing recharge of Rs 399 will get 100 per cent cashback in form of AJIO coupon. AIO coupon worth Rs 399 will be credited in ‘MyCoupons’ section of MyJio,” Jio said in a statement.

It should be noted that the telco is offering Ajio coupons worth the recharge value (Rs 399) under the new offer, which will be credited to their coupons section, in the MyJio account. One will get to avail the benefits of the new offer between December 28, 2018, and January 31, 2019. Additionally, the coupons that are credited after the recharge will be valid until March 15.

The coupons will also be eligible over the existing Ajio offers and will be available via the Ajio app or the website when one places an order with a minimum cart value of Rs 1,000. This offer is available for both new and old Jio subscribers and as mentioned earlier, is only applicable on the telco’s Rs 399 prepaid recharge option. Under this recharge plan, Jio users will get to avail 1.5GB data per day with a validity of 84 days, along with unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day and a complimentary subscription to Jio’s suite of apps like JioCinema, Jio Chat and others. 

Here is the details :

1. "Jio's 'Happy New Year Offer' is applicable on Jio's highest selling plan of Rs. 399, so majority of customers can take the full benefit of this offer," said the operator in a statement.

2. Under this scheme, subscribers who during the subsistence of the offer, performs the recharge on or after December 28, 2018, shall be entitled to Ajio Coupons, said the operator on its website.

3. The offer is available on recharges done through every channel- jio retailers and online.

4. The offer is applicable for both existing and new Jio users.

5. The AJio coupon worth Rs. 399 will be credited in MyCoupons section of MyJio. The coupon can be redeemed on AJIO app and website, said the Mukesh Ambani-owned company. 

6. Users can use the AJIO Coupon to avail a flat discount of Rs. 399 on the MRP of the products purchased from the platforms, provided the value of the products purchased as part of a single order placed by eligible users on the platform is equal to or exceeds Rs. 1,000 after taking into account all applicable discounts, if any.

7. The coupons received during this period can be redeemed on or before March 15, 2019, the operator noted.

8. Each AJIO coupon can be availed only once, and is valid for a single transaction only, the telecom operator noted.

9. The offer cannot be combined with any other promotions offered by AJIO.

10. All orders placed pursuant to the offer are subject to availability at the time of purchase, said Jio.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches.
