457% rise in cybercrime in India in five years – ASSOCHAM-NEC study: A recent ASSOCHAM-NEC joint study says that India has witnessed a 457-per cent rise in cybercrime incidents under the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000 from the year of 2011 to 2016.
