CESTAT grants duty exemption on import of power banks

CESTAT grants duty exemption on import of power banks: The Delhi bench of the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) has held that duty exemption is applicable for the import of power banks, they being a mobile battery charger.

Telangana State Government unveils Hyderabad City Hy-Fi Project

Telangana State Government has launched the ‘Hyderabad City Wi-Fi Project’ also known as Hy-Fi, with over 1000 hot-spots across the state capital which was Inaugurated by theHon’ble Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Shri Bonthu Rammohan, the project will cover 3000 hotspot locations within the city. The launch ceremony was attended by many senior state government officials and dignitaries including Shri Jayesh Ranjan (IAS), Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department, Govt. of Telangana and Shri. B. Janardhan Reddy (IAS), Commissioner, GHMC. COAI is the technical advisor to the Government of Telangana in this ambitious project, was represented by Shri Rajan S.
