CAG report on Rafale deal is tabled in Lok Sabha today: The audit report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General (CAG) is  tabled in the Lok Sabha Today.The government is also hoping to pass the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill in the Rajya Sabha.  As per officials comment the CAG which went into the €7.87-billion inter-governmental agreement (IGA) with France will not get into the pricing details

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
