Cisco expands partnership with Gujarat Government on Skill Development: Aligned with its commitment to accelerate digital transformation in the country, Cisco today announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Government of Gujarat, to further digital training and skill development across the State. In a multi-departmental undertaking, several programs with the Directorate of Employment & Training (DET), the Gujarat Knowledge Society (GKS), Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) and Commissionerate of Health (CoH) are set to be implemented over the next 12 months.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
