China dominate top five VC funded IoT companies list in 2018: Even though there is still no clear winner in the ongoing US-China trade war, the Asian giant has clearly emerged as winner in the Internet of Things (IoT) race. Among the top five venture capital (VC) funded companies in IoT space, four were Chinese companies while only one was American in 2018, according to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
