Amazon brings Virtual Reality Experience Zones To Celebrate Prime Day: Amazon India is bringing Prime Day celebrations alive with Virtual Reality (VR) based experience for Prime Day. Aimed at bringing the touch-and-try charm to ecommerce shopping, the VR experience allows customers to enjoy an immersive experience before buying the product. Customers will be able to view products in life-size, inspect products up close, enjoy 360 degree views and evaluate products in the environment that they are likely to use it in.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
