Telecom sector to create 3,00,000 jobs in next 18 months-Aruna: India’s telecom sector will create up to 3,00,000 jobs in the next 18 months and a majority of these positions will come up in rural areas of the country, says, Telecom Secretary and Telecom Commission chairman Aruna Sundararajan.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
