HDFC Bank passbook with deposit insurance stamp, raises many questions: India's one of the finest private sector bank, HDFC Wednesday issued a clarification with reference to an image of a passbook bearing a stamp of deposit insurance cover being circulated on social media that seems to have caused concern among customers. The image doing the rounds of social media shows an HDFC passbook with a stamp saying deposits in the bank up to Rs 1 lakh is insured.

IFFCO selects KPIT Cummins to implement OTM

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE IFFCO has announced that it has selected KPIT Cummins to strengthen its supply chain execution using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). As part of this strategic engagement, KPIT Cummins will build a comprehensive transportation management platform to integrate IFFCO group's supply chain processes as well as those of its external carriers. This is one of the largest OTM implementations in the Middle East and will be completed in 14 months. The scope of this multidimensional transformational project includes streamlining of all logistics and transportation - domestic and international - across IFFCO's entire supply chain from inbound raw and packing materials to finished goods distribution.
