Army Chief General Bipin Rawat named India’s first Chief of Defence: Bipin Rawat has been named as India’s first Chief of Defence, just a day before he is set to retire from his service as Army Chief General. Rawat has successfully completed his three year tenure as the Chief of Army staff.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
