Canalys: Big three dominate the 2019 PC industry with a record 65% share: The global PC market recorded its first full year of growth in eight years in 2019. Inclusive of desktops, notebooks and workstations, 268.1 million units were shipped, up 2.7% on 2018. The growth, though, is focused on the largest three vendors, which now account for two-thirds of all shipments.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
